Your Responsibilities

• Conception and development of tailor-made IT architectures for control and energy systems – from requirements analysis to implementation, with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Analysis of existing system landscapes (e.g., network control or energy management systems), identification of optimization potential, and creation of measurable added value in the project
• Integration and design of OT connections (IEC101/104, IEC61850, Modbus, OPC-UA) with modern software solutions
• Close collaboration with subject matter experts, development teams, and stakeholders – including acting as the central technical point of contact for end-to-end solutions
• Evaluation of new technologies (e.g., IIoT, Event Streaming, AI) and targeted use for solving current energy industry challenges
• Actively driving the further development and modernization of existing control and energy systems – pragmatic, structured, and solution-oriented
• Structured preparation of complex requirements and convincing presentation of architectural solutions – internally and with clients
• Participation in projects related to Smart Grids and control/SCADA-related systems – e.g., in modernization, integration, and further development of the target architecture

What you bring to the table

• Completed technical degree (FH/Uni) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Energy Engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of experience in the conception and implementation of complex IT solutions – ideally in the energy/utility sector or critical infrastructures
• Strong architectural understanding from on-premise to cloud: microservices, integration, event-driven systems, and reliable operational and scaling concepts.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and similar system architectures
• Practical experience in technical implementation (e.g., Java or comparable) – you can realistically translate requirements into architecture and implementation
• Domain understanding for control/energy systems or OT-related environments; requirements related to availability, real-time, and interfaces are familiar to you
• Analytical, structured, and hands-on: you prioritize effectively, make sound decisions, and drive topics to completion
• Strong communication skills in German and English, and enjoy interacting with clients and teams
• Willingness to travel for occasional project assignments within the DACH region

Salary Information

You have the opportunity to actively influence your salary based on your individual performance. This starts at EUR 4,800 gross per month. We are happy to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and experience.
