Role: Solution Engineer (m/f/d) in the Energy Sector

Shape the energy transition with us at d-fine. In a dedicated team, you will design, develop, and support specialized software for the planning, modeling, and operation of critical energy and data infrastructure in close coordination with our clients. You will work flexibly, primarily from home office, at your desired location within Germany. Our innovative work model "Yellow" offers flexible working conditions but also ensures that team spirit is maintained through personal exchange on-site, the so-called Quarterlies. Working in a dedicated team also forms the basis for very flexible working time models that perfectly suit your individual needs.

Your Responsibilities

As a Solution Engineer (m/f/d), you will accompany the entire lifecycle of innovative, in-house developed specialized solutions for critical infrastructure:

• Gathering business requirements, as well as planning, developing, and supporting specialized software for our clients in the energy sector
• Data modeling for energy industry processes
• Building CI/CD workflows and automating data pipelines
• Managing development, test, and production environments, as well as services in a cloud environment

Your Expertise

• Very good university degree (Master/PhD) in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Interest in data, data modeling, and modern technologies such as AI
• Enthusiasm for software development and building modern IT architectures using cloud technologies in the energy industry
• Willingness for continuous professional development
• Excellent communication skills, strong team player, and high motivation
• Very good German and English language skills
