Solution Product Manager – Food & Beverage Filtration (Wine Focus)

Your Mission

You will bridge:

• Winery / beverage production processes
• Filtration technologies
• Product definition & pricing
• Manufacturing capabilities

Your goal is to turn real production challenges into standardized, repeatable filtration solutions

What You Will Do

1 Front-End: Support Sales (30%)

• Join technical discussions with wineries and beverage producers
• Design filtration solutions for applications such as:
  • Pre-filtration before bottling
  • Clarification (removal of yeast, particles, haze)
  • Sterile filtration for final product safety
• Support sales teams in winning technically demanding projects

You are the technical brain behind commercial success

2 Mid-End: Product Definition (40%)

• Build application-based selection logic (wine / beverage → filtration solution)
• Define standard configurations:
  • Depth filters / pleated cartridges / membrane filters
  • Filter housings for hygienic applications
• Benchmark global leaders such as
  • Pall Corporation,
  • 3M, and
  • Parker Hannifin
• Develop pricing models aligned with process value and cost structure

You turn process knowledge into scalable product systems

3 Back-End: Connect with Manufacturing (30%)

• Ensure product compliance with food-grade standards (FDA, EC, etc.)
• Align with manufacturing on:
  • Materials (PP, PES, Nylon, etc.)
  • Structure and integrity
  • Hygienic design requirements
• Drive development of application-specific products for F&B industry

You ensure solutions are practical, compliant, and scalable

Who We Are Looking For

Must Have

• Experience in food & beverage filtration, wine production, or related process industries
• Understanding of filtration applications such as:
  • Clarification
  • Microbial control
  • Final sterile filtration
• Ability to perform basic technical selection (flow rate, micron rating, compatibility)

Strong Plus

• Experience working with wineries, breweries, or beverage plants
• Familiarity with filter cartridges, membrane filtration, or depth filtration
• Knowledge of hygienic standards (FDA, EC1935, etc.)
• Experience supporting sales or customer-facing roles

Not a Fit If

• You only have theoretical or lab experience without industrial exposure
• You have no understanding of real production processes
• You are used to routine quoting without technical judgment
