About

This role reports directly to the CompQsoft Chief Growth Officer. As a member of the BD/Growth Team, this role will solve complex problems by designing or modifying management and technology architectures to meet customer needs/requirements. The Senior Solution Architect responsibilities include analyzing business needs, identifying technical and management solutions, and designing a comprehensive plan for implementation. The role will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as developers, program managers, and partners, to ensure effective implementation of the solution, to achieve a winning position on bid opportunities.

Corporate Strategy

  • Provide input into CompQsoft's business and strategic plans to account for sustained growth three (3) to five (5) years out.
  • Advise on investments, such as emerging technologies, corporate and personnel required certifications to remain competitive.
  • Identify partners/teammates to support current and future bids.

Senior Solutions Architect Specific Responsibilities

  • Leading/Participating in the development and continuous improvement of the solution and its components throughout the opportunity life cycle – identification to contract award/start.
  • Supporting capture and proposal efforts, to include writing sections, as required, to ensure compliance with government requirements.
  • Working together with customers/stakeholders to comprehend their needs and requirements.
  • Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate management models, technologies and platforms for defining the solution.
  • Ensuring that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to development teams.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the solution.
  • Review potential/released opportunities for personnel requirements, inclusive of Key Personnel, LCAT requirements, certifications/education and any disincentives associated with a bid.
  • Establish Basis of Estimates (BOEs) based on the solutions developed for any given opportunity.
  • Support strategic pricing discussions to ensure solution/pricing alignment.
  • Develop architectural standards and best practices, templates, forms, reports etc. to improve the maturity level of the overall business development operations within CompQsoft.
  • Provide input into CompQsoft's marketing plan, including tradeshows, press releases, and social media.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • Previous experience supporting DoD, Federal Civilian or the Intelligence community.
  • Extensive proposal experience leading or supporting technical solution development.
  • Experience developing solutions that exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment, in one or more of the following:
    • Expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, and/or Big Data/Data Analytics.
    • Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenAI technologies.
    • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
    • Experience in big data tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Elasticsearch.
    • Advanced understanding of data analytics, visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Advanced problem‑solving skills; demonstrated expertise providing innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency with solutioning tools and techniques such as DODAF and DESMF.
  • Superior leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Team building and negotiating skills.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio.

Required Experience

  • BS or MS with a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or similar emphasis from an accredited academic institution.
  • Possess Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS clearance.
  • Minimum 8+ years of operational experience inclusive of solving complex, multi‑faceted problems within a BD/Growth Team and across organizational teams possessing multiple partners/stakeholders.
  • Existing relationships within the Federal IT space.
