Are you excited to work with the team that enables India’s leading FSI organisations to build innovative services with AWS, scaling to serve billion+ Indians? The FSI team in AWS India is looking for a Solutions Architect who can work with our customers who have built business models by serving financial need of customers & building foundations of payment infrastructure like UPI, widespread 4G internet access, affordable smartphones, exploding digital content, identity infrastructure like Aadhar and world class cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know‑how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
• Design IT systems deployed at scale and work as part of Centre of Excellence, Innovation Centres, etc., to investigate adoption of new technologies.
• Work with multiple technologies, patterns, and frameworks; evaluate trade‑offs, be hands‑on, and roll up sleeves to do PoC & demonstrate technologies.
• Identify repeatable patterns and best practices, pick up new technologies, and continuously learn.
• Represent Amazon Web Services India Pvt Ltd. (AWS India) well within a customer environment and drive discussions with senior personnel.
• Provide guidance to software developers and architects in India.
• Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) field.
• Experience in networking fundamentals, security, databases (relational and/or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows).
• Experience in the area of Analytics / GenAI / Containers / API / Cloud architecture & deployment.
