Job Description
As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as the technical lead responsible for governing and guiding a new enterprise fiscal services technology solution that supports a large healthcare enterprise system and its business operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure the solution aligns with program objectives, regulatory requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and long term modernization goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide the technical implementation of a new enterprise fiscal services solution.
- Ensure solutions align with applicable federal guidelines, interoperability standards, and modular architecture requirements.
- Lead architectural reviews and assess solution designs for compliance with enterprise architecture and technical policies.
- Evaluate integration needs across related modules such as eligibility, provider services, pharmacy, and data warehousing.
- Provide architectural guidance on system interfaces, data exchange standards, APIs, security models, and cloud strategies.
- Develop and maintain architectural artifacts including diagrams, data flows, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security, privacy, and risk management standards.
- Participate in governance activities, review change requests, and ensure solution sustainability and maintainability.
- Provide leadership and technical direction to analysts, developers, and external partners throughout the solution lifecycle.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies
- Proven experience serving as a solutions or cloud architect for large scale enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of healthcare or public sector enterprise system architectures and business operations.
- Experience aligning system designs with federal and state regulatory requirements and interoperability standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in system integration, APIs, data exchange, and modular solution design.
- Strong background in cloud architecture and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Experience producing and maintaining formal architectural documentation and roadmaps.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business, technical, and security stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
