Position Description

Title: Solutions Architect I

Department: IT

Immediate Supervisor: Solutions Architect Manager

Status: Exempt

Position Purpose: Using a combination of strong technical expertise and business analysis capabilities, this role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that enterprise systems are designed and implemented to deliver maximum value.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and drive consensus across business and technical teams.
  • Define solution roadmaps and technical strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design scalable, secure, and integrated solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.
  • Provide architectural guidance to development teams during implementation.
  • Oversee system integrations, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Develop solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dynamics 365.
  • Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
  • Support estimation, planning, and delivery of projects.
  • Manage change requests and ensure adherence to architectural standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience with Azure (Logic Apps, API Mgmt., Data Factory), Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Skilled in process mapping and gap analysis.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Adaptability and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience / understand of manufacturing practices.
