Solution Architect

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Solution Architect to design and implement enterprise solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, translating business requirements into scalable configurations and custom applications while ensuring alignment with architectural standards, governance, and best practices. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance user experience, optimize business processes, and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Solution Architects to recommend out-of-the-box configurations or custom solutions, including deployment approaches.
• Facilitating and co-facilitating requirements and design sessions with business stakeholders.
• Configuring, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Mentoring and supporting in-house functional specialists to build internal capability.
• Working with information architects to design and model data within Dataverse.
• Advising on best practices for configuring and extending Dynamics 365 core features to support business outcomes and user experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Ability to configure and develop solutions/ custom solutions in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform based on stated business requirements.
• Ability to build Power Apps and Power Automate solutions as required to meet business requirements.
• Ability to contribute to and validate design to actual implementation to ensure adherence to best practices and governance.
• Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 plug-ins/ web resources and ability to recommend potential options.
• Deep knowledge of the features, components and architecture of selected Dynamics modules.
• Experience implementing solutions that support customer service (Customer Engagement Module).
• Experience implementing solutions that field service life cycles (Field Services Module).
