What Does a Solutions Architect (m/f/d) Do at Pensionsversicherung?

What to Expect

• The analysis of business requirements and the development and structured documentation of sustainable system architectures and solution designs are your responsibility.
• You actively support the modernization of existing system landscapes and drive the transformation from monolithic structures to modern, distributed systems.
• The creation of application blueprints and the further development of development specifications in close coordination with the enterprise architecture are also part of your field of activity.
• As a central interface, you ensure professional exchange with internal teams, external system partners, and user groups in the sense of stakeholder management.
• Ensuring "Security & Privacy by Design" while considering regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS2, ISO 27001) makes your area of activity versatile.
• Professional support of the implementation teams and consulting on complex tender processes complete your range of tasks.

What Makes You Stand Out

• You have a completed technical degree (e.g., university, university of applied sciences) or possess a comparable relevant qualification, excellent German language skills for legally sound documentation, and fluent English.
• You have at least three to five years of practical experience in the conception and implementation of distributed applications, ideally in the role of a Solution Architect or Senior Software Architect, with in-depth knowledge of modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, APIs, cloud-native) and experience with container technologies (including Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficient use of UML and common architecture frameworks, as well as experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, are part of your professional repertoire.
• With your analytical mindset and high communication competence, you convince us, especially through your ability to convey complex issues understandably to both developers and management.
• A good understanding of the structures of the Austrian public law sector is also an advantage.

Compensation

We offer a gross minimum annual salary according to service order A for employees of social security institutions in Austria on a full-time basis starting from EUR 57,527.40 (no all-in contracts); depending on professional qualifications and experience, previous employment can be credited and will significantly increase your actual salary.
