Solutions Architect (Network, Security & Cloud)

Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture • Design and document end-to-end technical solutions aligned to business requirements • Develop architecture diagrams and technical specifications • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective • Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies Project Delivery & Implementation • Lead technical aspects of implementation projects • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery • Oversee deployment from concept through to production Research & Innovation • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends • Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives • Assess solution viability and ROI Network Infrastructure & Security • Design and optimise network infrastructure for performance and reliability • Configure and troubleshoot firewall and network solutions • Implement security best practices and support root cause analysis Business & Stakeholder Engagement • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language • Gather and refine requirements with stakeholders • Present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences Vendor Management & Support • Engage with technology vendors to evaluate solutions • Manage vendor relationships and technical deliverables Incident Response & Support • Provide technical support during incidents and outages • Assist with investigations and post-incident reviews • Develop preventative documentation and recommendations Minimum Requirements • Relevant certification (e.g., CCNA or equivalent) • 3+ years’ experience in a Solutions Architect or similar technical role • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, security protocols, and enterprise architecture • Experience with firewall technologies and multi-vendor environments • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Experience • Advanced networking certifications (e.g., CCNP) • Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure Solutions Architect) • Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, and cloud networking • Exposure to network automation or scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and architecture frameworks • Background in cybersecurity or information security • Project implementation experience within enterprise environments ?
