Solutions Architect - PowerCurve (Banking)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with PowerCurve expertise to design and deliver enterprise-grade credit decisioning solutions within the banking environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecture design, system integration, and implementation of Experian PowerCurve solutions supporting credit risk, decisioning, and customer lifecycle management.

This role requires deep knowledge of banking systems, credit risk platforms, decisioning engines, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Duties & Responsibilities

Solution Architecture • Design end-to-end solution architectures for credit decisioning platforms using PowerCurve (Originations, Strategy Management, and Customer Management). • Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs. • Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture aligned with enterprise standards.

PowerCurve Implementation • Lead the implementation, configuration, and integration of PowerCurve solutions. • Design decisioning workflows, rule engines, and credit strategies. • Collaborate with business teams to optimize credit policy automation and decision strategies.

Integration & Systems Design • Architect integrations between PowerCurve and banking systems such as: • Core Banking Systems • Loan Origination Systems • Credit Bureaus • Customer Data Platforms • Fraud detection systems • Define API and microservices integration architecture.

Technical Leadership • Provide technical guidance to development teams. • Conduct architecture reviews and design governance. • Mentor developers and engineers on best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement • Work with business stakeholders, risk teams, and product owners to deliver solutions aligned with credit strategy. • Present architectural designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Governance & Compliance • Ensure solutions meet banking regulatory requirements and security standards. • Maintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and design artifacts.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Technical Skills • Strong experience with Experian PowerCurve Platform • PowerCurve Originations • PowerCurve Strategy Management • PowerCurve Customer Management • Experience designing credit decisioning and risk systems. • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred). • Strong experience with: • APIs and REST services • Microservices architecture • Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) • Integration middleware • SQL and data modeling

Banking Domain Expertise • Deep understanding of: • Credit risk • Lending systems • Loan origination processes • Regulatory requirements in banking • Decisioning engines and rules engines

Architecture & Design • Experience creating: • Solution architecture diagrams • System integration designs • Data flow and decisioning models • Strong knowledge of scalable distributed systems.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. • 8+ years experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture. • 3+ years experience working with PowerCurve solutions. • Experience working in banking or financial services.
