About the role

Job Purpose

The Solution Architect leads the technical design, configuration, and implementation of Price Management and Optimization software. Serving as a bridge between business, IT, and vendors, this role ensures seamless integration with internal systems, resolves technical challenges, and optimizes system performance to support pricing strategy and business objectives. After implementation this role leads the continuous maintenance process of the solution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, configuration, and implementation of Price Management and Price Optimization software.
  • Act as technical liaison between the business, IT teams, and external vendors during implementation and beyond.
  • Collaborate with pricing, sales, and IT teams to ensure alignment of the software solution with business objectives.
  • Define and document the integration strategy with internal systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, data warehouses).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of pricing software features and functionalities to provide expert-level guidance and training.
  • Create technical documentation, best practices, and guidelines to support internal teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance post-implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing or supporting SaaS solutions, preferably in pricing or revenue management.
  • Expert in pricing software implementation of solutions like Vendavo or PROS.
  • Experience with system integrations, including ERP (SAP, MSD 365 F&O) and Salesforce CPQ.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full software implementation life cycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and concepts is a plus.
