BuzzClan is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solution Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in complex enterprise environments and have strong experience delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies.

Role Overview

The Solutions Designer will be responsible for designing hosting and application technology solutions aligned with client standards, policies, and business requirements. The role involves working on large-scale, complex systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture and cost models.

Key Responsibilities • Design and develop technology solutions based on business requirements and enterprise standards • Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Architects • Create technical specifications, solution architecture, and application design documents • Develop UML models and design artefacts using tools like PowerDesigner • Support QA processes including unit testing, automation, security, and performance testing • Modernize legacy systems using .NET, Java, and cloud-native technologies • Develop web and enterprise applications using microservices and API-based architecture • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and long-term fixes • Prepare implementation and operational procedure documentation • Coordinate development activities and provide technical guidance • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide post-implementation support

General Skills • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, SAN, and enterprise infrastructure • Understanding of IT standards, policies, procurement, and cost models • Ability to gather and analyze business and technical requirements • Experience in solution design, system evaluation, and performance optimization • Knowledge of security, recovery, and infrastructure best practices • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK)

Technical Solution & Development Skills (40%) • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Siebel CRM or Adobe AEM • Experience in: • Business design documents and requirement gathering (functional & non-functional) • High-level application flows and functional design documents • Process flows, screen designs, and UI mapping • UX design, accessibility (WCAG/AODA), and usability testing • User personas, journey mapping, and feedback analysis • Wireframing and prototyping (Figma, Adobe XD) • Use case development and business rule documentation • Risk identification and mitigation • QA planning and test case creation

Technology Skills (35%) • 7+ years of Siebel and Adobe AEM implementation experience • Experience with: • Change management methodologies • UAT planning, test strategies, and documentation • Business architecture artefacts and RUP methodology • CRUD matrix and application visibility design • Wireframes, screen flows, and prototyping

Soft Skills (20%) • Strong verbal and written communication • Ability to present ideas and propose innovative solutions • Excellent teamwork and stakeholder collaboration • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines • Experience bridging business and technical teams

Public Sector Experience (5%) • Experience with Transfer Payment (Grant) Model (preferred) • Familiarity with corporate QA standards (preferred)

Must-Have Skills • 7+ years of experience with Oracle Siebel CRM or Adobe AEM • Strong experience in: • Business and functional design documentation • High-level application flows • Functional design documents • Change management methodologies • Siebel and AEM solution implementation

Nice-to-Have Skills • Public sector grant/transfer payment experience • Experience with QA standards in enterprise environments

Technical Environment & Experience • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, IMS • Platforms: Unix (Solaris, AIX), Linux (RedHat), Windows Server, Docker, Azure • Web/App Servers: WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, WildFly, IIS

Development Experience • 10+ years in C#, .NET, and Java (JEE) technologies • Experience with: • ASP.NET Core, MVC, REST APIs • Microservices and cloud-native architecture • Angular, React, Node.js • Spring Framework (Boot, MVC) • XML, JSON, Web Services

Architecture & Methodologies • 15+ years in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (UML) • Experience with: • Microservices architecture • Agile, DevOps, CI/CD • Cloud-native application design • OWASP secure coding practices

Tools & Frameworks • Version Control & Build: GitHub/GitLab, Maven, Ant • IDEs: Eclipse, Visual Studio • UML Tools: PowerDesigner • Testing Tools: Selenium, JAWS, WAVE, AXE, NVDA

Additional Requirements • Experience in large, complex, high-volume systems • Exposure to public sector systems (Canada preferred) • Strong SQL and stored procedure development skills • Experience with Azure Data Factory (1+ year preferred)
