Role Overview

As an Implementation Engineer, you will work hands-on with plant systems and modern software stacks to implement, integrate, and support Altizon’s Digital Factory solutions powered by DFX Platform in production environments. We are looking for an engineer with 2–4 years’ experience in industrial software, industry 4.0, manufacturing IT/OT who has strong ownership and willingness to travel to customer plant locations as needed for DFX solution rollouts. You’ll collaborate with plant teams, product engineering, and customer stakeholders to deliver reliable data pipelines, dashboards, and workflows—driving measurable outcomes on the shop floor. The role provides a unique blend of customer interaction and hands-on technical problem-solving and an opportunity to work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Altizon’s solutions across production lines (data acquisition processing visualization).
• Help to integrate with industrial systems: PLC/SCADA, historians, and machine interfaces using common industrial protocols using IoT gateways or Edge.
• Build and enhance lightweight application components (APIs, scripts, UI changes) to meet site-specific needs.
• Help Troubleshoot data quality and connectivity issues across edge, network, and cloud layers; communicate and coordinate with Customer Success Engineering (CSE) team to close these issues quickly.
• Create clear technical documentation (site notes, configuration, runbooks) and support smooth go-lives.
• Collaborate with remote Engineering/Customer Success Engineering team for fixes, product feedback, and continuous improvement.
• Work with colleagues to enhance and maintain the quality and effectiveness of prospect demo scenarios.
• Provide sales with ongoing support in fulfilment of RFI’s, RFP’s and other customer/prospect driven requests.
• Extensive travel required to customer sites, with all travel expenses (flight, lodging, meals) covered by the company.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation or related technical field
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering + integration (APIs, debugging, logs, performance basics)
• Experience with one or more: Java / JavaScript / Python (plus comfort reading code)
• Familiarity with databases (MongoDB/SQL) and data troubleshooting
• Exposure to Linux, networking basics, and edge deployments
• Familiar with network protocols and architecture
• Experience performing in a customer facing / interactive role
• Experience deploying software in F&B manufacturing sector
• Self-starter and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Bonus: familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, Flutter/React Native
