Role Overview
We are seeking a proficient Solutions Engineer to join a team building and enhancing an enterprise-level Ansible Automation Platform. This role involves handling components of complex engineering tasks, assisting in the establishment of input/output processes, and ensuring hardware compatibility. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical resource and individual contributor on the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities.
- Develop controls for automation platforms with a focus on shared content across enterprise tools.
- Implement the SDLC chain for managing automation content.
- Provide technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor.
- Assist in defining working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordinating subsystem design.
- Influence and direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations.
- Consider applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for alignment and to augment service offerings.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years with Ansible Automation Platform.
- 5+ years with TrueSight Server Orchestrator.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting (YAML, XML, Python, Perl, shell).
Professional Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals across the organization.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to understand complex application infrastructure and model it for compliance reporting.
- Proficiency in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Github Copilot is a plus.
- Familiarity with TrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic) is helpful.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $65.00 to $70.24 per hour. Please note that this is a contract role and benefits may differ from full-time positions.
