Sophis Developer

About

A Sophis Developer is required for a Cross Asset Trading House based in Paris. As a Sophis Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Sophis components and integrations across front-to-back systems, supporting both ongoing project delivery and production stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Sophis customisations, extensions, and interfaces to support trading, risk, and back-office processes.
• Work closely with business users, support, and infrastructure teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to the ongoing Sophis upgrade and optimisation roadmap.
• Participate in release management, configuration, and version control of Sophis components.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve complex system and integration issues.
• Support post-live environments, ensuring performance and stability of critical trading applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Sophis (essential) – ideally in development or customisation of Sophis Risque or Sophis Value.
• Strong programming background – C++, C#, or Python experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle.
• Familiarity with trade capture, market data, settlement/clearing, and risk calculation systems.
• Experience working in a Front Office or cross-asset trading environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Support and Business Analyst teams to deliver robust solutions.

Additional Information

• Contract role, paying up to €900/day.
• 6 months rolling contract.
• Hybrid working model – 3 days per week in Paris.
