About the role

Position Overview

The STR Support Analyst is responsible for active processing of master data for operational and transactional purchase process (Procure to Pay Process). This role processes the upcoming procurement data in accordance to actual valid legal requirements, SOP’s, company policies and further guidelines. Overall, it supports the requester/procurement community in various applicable Source to Pay processes across multiple Procurement Systems (SAP Ariba, SAP ECC, SAP SRM, Synertrade, etc.) and resolves technical issues in a timely manner by collaborating with relevant teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains vendor master data (type GLM1, GLM4, GLM6 wherever applicable) per business request in accordance with company policies, governance rules and processes, e.g., inSITE, ONBOARD, GTS, ICS, Legal Contracts.
  • Acts as the liaison with the Global Master Data team to coordinate and facilitate the creation and maintenance of type GLMA (Affiliate Vendor) data as needed.
  • Creates and maintains all types of material master data (HAWA/DIEN/DOKU) per procurement team request ensuring timely and correct conversion of Purchase Orders.
  • Creates and maintains material source lists/purchasing info records per request of PVE/Category Manager to execute supplier strategy and contract effectiveness.
  • Monitors, follows up, and communicates the progress of master data creation and maintenance to business requestors, ensuring timely approvals and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintains stakeholder relations through direct personal contact, phone, or written correspondence.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree desirable (BA or BS) in Business, Economics, Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain or Procurement.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in procurement, logistics, accounting, or purchasing-related positions.
  • Basic knowledge regarding assigned products, markets, and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with operational purchasing processes.
  • Basic SAP usage knowledge including Master Data, MM, FI, SRM modules, and Ariba.
  • Advanced experience in MS Office tools and equivalent Google applications.
  • Knowledge in SAP ARIBA / SAP SRM or equivalent is a plus.
