What can I expect day to day?
- Partner closely with the Account Management team to support key Hays clients by delivering recruitment solutions across their Corporate Services functions, including contract, temporary, and interim roles within Accounting & Finance, Property & Real Estate, Payroll, Human Resources, and Procurement.
- Source, identify, and engage both passive and active candidates using a variety of channels, including the Hays internal ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards and sourcing tools.
- Conduct thorough screening calls and interviews to assess candidate suitability, skills, and motivations, and manage the end-to-end interview process, including scheduling client interviews and preparing candidates in detail.
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the recruitment lifecycle by collecting and managing feedback, presenting offers, and supporting offer negotiations between candidates and clients.
- Provide ongoing aftercare for placed contractors, addressing any issues or queries during the assignment, maintaining strong relationships, and proactively managing and negotiating contract extensions.
- Create, post, and manage job advertisements to attract high-quality applicants, while reviewing, shortlisting, and managing applications in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work directly with Hays clients to present and shortlist candidates, delivering well-structured candidate profiles that clearly outline skills, experience, and suitability for the role.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both active and passive candidates, developing a strong talent pipeline to support current hiring needs and future workforce planning.
- Provide expert market insight to the Account Management team and clients, including guidance on compensation benchmarking, candidate availability, hiring trends, potential sourcing challenges, and practical solutions.
Who are we looking for?
- 3 year + Recruitment experience in an agency setting
- Experience in Business Development or Direct Sales would be considered an Asset
- You are goal-oriented, purposeful in building new and existing relationships, competitive but thrive in a team environment with the self-motivation to make things happen.

Compensation
Base salary of $70,000 with uncapped commission. Total earning potential of this desk is higher and competitive. The role sits as an individual contributor desk to start, with clear progression into leadership opportunities over time.
