ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking a professional and passionate Spa Therapist for a luxury private game reserve. This is an opportunity for a guest-focused individual dedicated to wellness and delivering exceptional spa experiences in a unique bush setting.

MAIN DUTIES

The candidate will be responsible for the following deliverables:

• Treatment Services: Provide a range of treatments including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and body therapies. Conduct thorough guest consultations to determine individual treatment needs and preferences.
• Operational Standards: Ensure treatment rooms and spa areas are consistently clean, hygienic, and well-prepared. Maintain high standards of guest service, professionalism, and confidentiality. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Sales and Administration: Promote and upsell spa treatments, retail products, and wellness packages. Manage bookings and treatment schedules in coordination with reception. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering spa products and supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-of-house and lodge teams to enhance the overall guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Education and Certification: Relevant spa or beauty therapy qualification (CIDESCO, ITEC, or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous experience in a lodge, hotel, or resort spa environment preferred.
• Skills and Physical Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills. Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods. Good knowledge of spa treatments and products.
• Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
