About the Role
As a Specialist, Data Analysis, you will join the Data and Performance Management, Operational Excellence team. You will collect supply chain data and analyze supply chain data and recommend improvements to boost performance and reduce costs. You will report to the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics and Special Projects and work remote. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze supply chain data.
- Recommend improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other professionals to implement changes and new systems.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that improve statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or other technical degree preferred.
- No experience required, 2+ years' experience in a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required.
- Experience analyzing large amounts of data.
- Experience building advanced and predictive analytics.
- Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Business Warehouse, SAP.
- Familiarity with statistical packages and SQL preferred.
Salary
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
