At our Hamburg or Munich location, we are looking for a Specialist Product Management (m/f/d) for Liquid Investment Products for the DPM & Investment Products department within Products & Clients Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Product selection in retail funds and Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) within predefined peer groups or investment objectives
- Communication and relationship management with product providers
- Management of selected products throughout their entire lifecycle (selection, steering, support, settlement, etc.), including compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID equivalence check, target market, suitability)
- Support for securities specialists in sales as a product specialist for liquid investment instruments
- Proactive idea generation for liquid investment instruments and marketing of investment ideas to sales teams, including conducting product presentations/training, product calls (storytelling), and building a network of product manufacturers such as fund companies and investment banks
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative product research, including providing and managing recommendation lists, and creating and maintaining a concept for product and issuer selection, management, and monitoring
Profile
- Banking apprenticeship and/or capital market-related degree
- Experience and knowledge in handling funds (active/passive) and ETPs; analytical approach to product and issuer selection
- Deep understanding of capital markets
- Willingness to shape and expand product management as well as new services related to funds and ETPs across various asset classes and product vehicles
- Motivation to collaborate with sales (especially securities specialists), portfolio managers in asset management, and the Investment Communication function
- High interest in establishing a new function within the bank
- In-depth knowledge of relevant databases (Morningstar) is desirable
