Senior Splunk Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Splunk Developer with 12+ years of IT experience to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level Splunk solutions. The role focuses on creating high-performance dashboards, onboarding diverse data sources, and delivering meaningful insights to business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations
• Onboard and normalize data sources aligned with Splunk CIM standards
• Develop and optimize complex SPL queries for performance and accuracy
• Integrate data using Splunk DB Connect, SQL queries, and REST APIs
• Build custom Splunk apps and add-ons
• Automate tasks using Python or shell scripting
• Maintain clear technical documentation
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on Splunk development
• Advanced knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and SPL
• Experience with CIM, DB Connect, APIs, and scripting (Python/Shell)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Splunk certifications (Admin, Developer, Architect)
• Experience with Splunk ES, ITSI, or Observability
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
