About
Since our founding in 1924, the American Heart Association has cut cardiovascular disease deaths in half and continues to tackle today’s biggest health challenges. We are seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager for our National Center office in Dallas, TX. This full‑time, grant‑funded position (funding through July 2031) reports to the National Director, Brand Marketing and leads the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns for a portfolio of AHA brands and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and lead strategy and execution of multi‑media brand marketing for a portfolio of programs, products, or services, identifying positioning, marketing themes, and media channels to reach target customers.
- Document and customize marketing plans to maximize market penetration for products, programs, or services.
- Work with cross‑functional teams or vendors to conduct research, analyze market trends and data, define targeted customer segments, and determine marketing drives that influence desired behavior for each segment.
- Create a unique customer experience to achieve the desired brand image, business and funder goals, and campaign objectives.
- Measure, analyze, and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics; communicate and present modifications to increase campaign effectiveness.
- Lead and coach direct report(s), mentor and educate cross‑functional teams on marketing objectives.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading integrated, omnichannel marketing campaigns across web, email, social, and media/advertising.
- Experience working with multiple vendors/partners (internal and external) on critical timelines and multiple project requirements.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into narrative form.
- Ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to think critically and tackle problems.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected pay range: $90,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply).
