Sr. Credit Analyst (FI-071)

About the Role

OpenText is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to support credit operations, optimize cash collection, and minimize bad debt while enabling business growth. This role reports to the Senior Director of Credit and works closely with Sales and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements and assess credit risk
• Monitor account performance and recommend credit decisions
• Collaborate with Sales and stakeholders to resolve credit requests
• Approve payment terms in line with SLAs and company policies
• Support acquisitions and integration initiatives
• Drive improvements in credit processes and collections strategies

Top Skills Required

• Strong financial statement analysis
• Credit risk assessment experience
• B2B credit experience (preferably in tech/software)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B credit experience (global experience preferred)
• CCP or accounting designation is an asset
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive process improvements
• Bilingual skills are a plus
