Role Description
This is a contract-based, on-site role for a Data Engineer located in Irving, TX.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data architectures. Responsibilities include developing efficient ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimizing data workflows for analytics and business intelligence.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, integrating data from multiple sources, and following best practices in data engineering and data governance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Engineering concepts and tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehousing solutions
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
