Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Development Manager located in Cape Town. The Senior Development Manager will oversee all aspects of project development, including planning, execution, and successful delivery. Responsibilities include managing budgets, timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves stakeholder communication, ensuring project alignment with sustainability goals, and implementing innovative strategies to improve processes and outcomes.

• Project Management: Proven track record of managing construction or property development projects, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and timeline adherence.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with design, construction processes, and sustainable building principles.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify challenges and implement effective and innovative solutions throughout project lifecycles.
• Additional Skills: Strong organizational and decision-making abilities; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desired Qualifications: Experience in sustainable building practices; a degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related fields; and a passion for innovation in the building industry.
