The Role

We are seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Sr. Director of Client Success to lead and scale our Food Solutions Client Success team. This leader will oversee a team of Client Success Managers responsible for managing and growing relationships with SMB and MM clients across the food solutions business.

The ideal candidate is equal parts relationship builder, operator, and people leader; someone who can drive customer retention, expansion, operational excellence, and long-term partnership value while building a world-class customer experience organization.

As the Sr. Director of Client Success, you will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Food Partners, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure our customers achieve measurable success and receive exceptional service throughout their lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Customer Success Managers focused on customer retention, growth, and satisfaction
  • Execute a scalable customer success strategy that drives customer engagement, adoption, retention, and revenue expansion
  • Establish customer success KPIs and reporting frameworks, including retention, NPS, account health, renewal rates, and customer engagement metrics
  • Create and implement customer success playbooks, processes, and best practices to support a rapidly growing client base
  • Serve as an executive escalation point for key customer issues and ensure timely resolution with a customer-first mindset
  • Develop strong executive-level relationships with strategic customers and act as a trusted advisor to their teams
  • Partner closely with Sales to support renewals, upsells, and strategic account growth opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Food Partners, Logistics, and Product teams to improve the customer experience and drive operational excellence
  • Analyze customer feedback, trends, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Drive customer advocacy initiatives including testimonials, referrals, case studies, and long-term partnership programs
  • Ensure customer-facing processes remain scalable, responsive, and aligned with evolving business needs
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer obsession across the team
  • Develop thoughtful and strategic customer engagement initiatives that support key moments throughout the customer lifecycle

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in Client Success, Account Management, Client Services, or related customer-facing leadership roles
  • 3+ years leading and developing high-performing Client Success teams
  • Experience in food service, hospitality, catering, marketplace, logistics, or high-growth service-based businesses preferred
  • Proven ability to manage strategic customer relationships and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Strong operational mindset with experience building scalable systems, processes, and customer programs
  • Demonstrated success improving customer retention, satisfaction, and expansion metrics
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Expertise using CRM platforms and customer success tools to track customer health, engagement, and performance metrics
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
  • Passion for hospitality, food experiences, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes
