The Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director – Automation to lead and scale our Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Agentic AI and Power Platform initiatives across the region. This role will be instrumental in driving digital transformation by identifying automation opportunities, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing scalable, secure, and innovative automation solutions.

The Responsibilities & Duties • Oversee and drive RPA and automation initiatives across the region, aligning with organizational goals and digital transformation strategies. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of RPA developers and automation specialists. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities that deliver measurable value. • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of automation projects including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. • Ensure optimal performance of deployed RPA solutions, proactively addressing issues and implementing continuous improvements. • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of automation initiatives. • Design and deliver training programs to upskill internal teams on RPA tools, technologies, and best practices. • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders throughout the automation project lifecycle. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation to support governance, audit, and compliance requirements. • Define and execute a global strategy for Microsoft Power Platform adoption, maturity, and innovation. • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, security protocols, and best practices for automation platforms. • Champion the development of scalable, future-ready automation solutions that drive operational efficiency. • Partner with IT, security, compliance, and business units to ensure alignment and platform integrity. • Lead enablement programs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and community-building initiatives to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • 5–10 years of progressive experience in RPA, intelligent automation, or related domains, with a proven track record of leading automation teams and projects. • Deep expertise in RPA platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. • Strong project management skills with experience in both agile and traditional delivery methodologies. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into effective automation solutions. • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, governance models, and change management principles. • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder automation programs in global environments. • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
