Sr. Electronic Hardware Engineer - Project engineering

About Role

We are hiring for an advanced aerospace engineering environment focused on the development of electronic hardware for electric power applications. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engineering projects across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production and service.

As a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer – Project Engineering, you will lead advanced engineering projects, providing technical leadership and ensuring successful execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards. Your role will be critical in driving innovation, managing resources, and ensuring project success within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects across the full design lifecycle
• Develop and execute project plans, including scheduling and milestone tracking
• Provide technical leadership for electronic hardware development in aerospace applications
• Manage project costs, estimates, and resource allocation
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout project execution
• Serve as the primary engineering interface for customers and suppliers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
• Oversee subcontractor performance and implement corrective actions as needed
• Coordinate build, integration, and testing of engineering hardware
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in project engineering
• Experience managing complex engineering projects
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of engineering tools, methodologies, and project management practices
• Ability to work in a controlled goods environment (eligible for CGP security clearance)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
