Sr Engineering Manager

About Role

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on the design and development of advanced integrated circuit (IC) products for aerospace applications. This role combines technical leadership with people management, ensuring successful delivery of complex engineering programs while aligning with business strategy and innovation goals.

You will play a critical role in driving engineering excellence, managing team performance, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge aerospace technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 18+ engineers specializing in integrated circuit design and development
• Drive short-term and long-term engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
• Oversee full product development lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, and verification
• Manage workload planning, execution, and project delivery timelines
• Lead employee development, coaching, and performance management processes
• Collaborate with business teams to support new business opportunities and growth initiatives
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
• Provide oversight for organization-wide engineering projects and technical deliverables
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Implement and maintain engineering tools, processes, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in engineering
• Strong background in integrated circuit (IC) or semiconductor technologies
• Ability to lead large, cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience in ASIC design, applications engineering, or IC packaging (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Eligibility to obtain or hold U.S. security clearance
• Willingness to work in a hybrid onsite environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $165,000 – $185,000 annually
