About the role
About the Position
Reporting to the Senior manager, the financial analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Perform financial modeling and analysis for real estate investments and developments.
- Evaluate cash flows, returns, and overall asset performance.
- Prepare proformas, investment analyses, and presentations for leadership.
- Assist with due diligence, market research, and transaction support.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support strategic decisions.
- Monitor performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Deliver monthly reporting and forecasting updates to senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and support ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Support the annual budgeting process and departmental planning.
- Contribute to long-term forecasting and strategic planning initiatives.
- Provide insight into financial risks and opportunities.
- Develop financial models to assess risks and opportunities.
- Ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements
- CPA or CFA designation
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
- Strong understanding of real estate financial metrics such as NPV, IRR, cap rates, cash-on-cash returns, and analysis of income-generating properties
- Hands-on experience supporting financial analysis for real estate investments and development projects
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 to $105,000
- Extended health and dental
- 3 to 4 weeks’ vacation
