Sr. Java Developer (IAM Platform)

Overview

The team is replacing an existing identity solution with a SaaS-based platform, primarily using Ping Identity. The role will support integration and development on the FINRA side as the platform is implemented. The environment is still being built out, with production maturity expected in 2-3 years.

• Java (Full Stack)

• Serverless architecture

Identity Platforms

Preferred experience with:

• Ping Identity
• Okta
• ForgeRock The team will be working with Ping's SaaS platform, which Client will license and integrate with internal workflows.

Data & Backend Requirements

• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Candidates do not need to be database experts
• Must understand:
  • How to read from databases
  • How to write queries
  • How to interact with data services

DevOps & Infrastructure

Candidates should have familiarity with:

• Docker
• Container-based architecture
• Server-based environments
• CI/CD pipelines
• Jenkins or similar build tools

Responsibilities include:

• Building integration and deployment pipelines
• Supporting automation for application deployment

Role Responsibilities

• Build integrations with the Ping SaaS IAM platform
• Develop workflows on the FINRA side
• Support application integrations
• Work on product maintenance and ongoing enhancements
• Ensure proper logging and monitoring
• Help reduce production support issues
• Maintain and support current versions of the platform
