Sr Java Engineer

Introduction

The Sr Java Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications, with a focus on microservices architecture. This position requires a strong understanding of Java programming, Spring Framework, SQL, and experience working with Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud computing technologies.

Responsibilities

The Sr Java Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and testing Java applications
• Implementing microservices architecture using Spring Boot
• Working with Oracle databases to write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Migrating applications to the cloud using AWS services like Lambdas and Step Functions

Requirements

Required skills:

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Proficiency in Java 17+/J2EE, Spring Boot, Oracle DB, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Experience with AWS and cloud computing technologies

Preferred skills:

• Experience with RESTful API development
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
