Sr. Java Spring Boot Developer

Role Overview

Seeking a strong backend engineer with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture, along with exposure to BDD-based testing (Python Behave) and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute to API design, integration, and performance optimization across distributed systems
• Participate in backlog refinement, solution design, and sprint deliverables
• Collaborate with QA teams to support BDD-based test automation using Python Behave
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD practices, and version control (GitHub)
• Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality
• Contribute to problem-solving, defect resolution, and production support as needed

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Java, Spring Boot
  • Microservices architecture (REST APIs, service decomposition)
• Experience with:
  • Python Behave (BDD framework) or similar BDD tools
  • Git/GitHub workflows
• Understanding of:
  • API testing, integration patterns, and debugging techniques
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
