About the role

Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Corporate Recruiter reports to the Corporate Director, Talent Acquisition and provides overall recruiting guidance and leadership for the recruitment of corporate Director and AVP positions across the company. This position acts as the lead subject matter expert and responsible for full lifecycle management recruitment. In addition, the Sr. Manager develops and implements position specific recruiting and hiring strategies and plans to staff management and hourly positions at the corporate office across all brands and disciplines. The Sr. Manager works with hiring managers to understand and define their staffing requirements, create sourcing strategies, and provide subject matter expertise to develop candidate specifications that will meet business needs as appropriate. The Sr. Manager develops and maintains business partner relationships with Management Recruitment firms, business leaders and with professional minority and women organizations to create open sources of qualified and diverse candidates over time.

Expected Contributions

  • Manages the full lifecycle recruitment process to include auditing requisition and obtaining proper posting approvals, conducting intake session, proactively sourcing, resume review, applicant pre-screening & conducting behavioral interviews, process background checks and create offer details/letter and ensuring a smooth transition to onboarding coordinator.
  • The Sr. Manager, Management Recruiting works closely with the Corporate Director, Talent Acquisition to provide "thought" leadership for management recruiting philosophies and tactics.
  • The Sr. Manager partners with HR leaders and hiring managers across businesses and brands to support the overall mission of management recruiting and recruiting services.
  • Is responsible for all Director and AVP roles (excluding Executive Level) across all disciplines/functions at all Corporate locations.
  • Provides consultative leadership to and drives continuous process improvement for MVW in all aspects of management recruitment.
  • Conducts intake session with hiring manager and HR leader to ensure all stakeholders are aligned Partners with Human Resources Business Partners and Compensation to develop competitive and equitable compensation recommendations.
  • Develops critical relationships and partnerships with market and regional leadership as well as corporate COEs.
  • Provides input to update enterprise-wide policies related to general management talent acquisition.
  • Works directly with HR Change Management/Communications to ensure new policies, processes, tools, etc. are communicated to the end users in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Consults with Corporate SDHR and Director, Talent Acquisition when writing policies and procedures related to general management staffing, recruitment and assessment.
  • Designs and helps to design and develop Talent Acquisition related processes pertinent to Management recruiting.
  • Proactively audits internal SLAs for Management recruiting.
  • Reviews and analyzes customer satisfaction survey results. Identifies trends in feedback and provides follow up for issue resolution and/or appropriate communication to the businesses.
  • Coordinates with other HR work streams, as needed, for planning, design and development of policies and practices.
  • Works to harness the increasing capabilities of technology within in the Talent Acquisition world, with specific emphasis on Social Media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc).

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • Six to eight years of progressive Human Resources/Talent Acquisition experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related recruiting experience required. Corporate recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience at Marriott Vacation Club International preferred.
  • On property resort or hotel experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for senior level positions preferred.
  • Experience with social media technology as it relates to Talent Acquisition (LinkedIn, etc.) required.
