About the role
As the General Manager Marketing at Gates for the India Market, your role involves leading the Marketing & Communication function. Your primary responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies to drive brand growth, increase market share, and ensure consistent communication across all channels. Your objective is to maximize sales, distribution, and visibility through various marketing activities. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's business goals - Identify market opportunities and capitalize on them through effective planning - Oversee brand strategies to enhance market presence and ensure consistent messaging - Develop and implement digital marketing strategies including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media - Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns across online and offline channels - Manage the marketing budget effectively and monitor expenses - Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies - Create content, prepare industry-specific presentations, and marketing collaterals - Lead the execution of marketing programs in collaboration with business leaders and sales team - Develop and execute digital and print media plans to promote the Gates Brand - Manage vendor relationships for marketing collaterals, branding, and promotional items • *Qualifications Required:** - Degree in Marketing/Public Relations/Journalism or similar - 17 to 22 years of experience in automotive components, Industrial or Consumer industries in a high growth B2B environment - Experience in Digital Media for B2B and B2C campaigns - Strong analytical skills and metrics-driven thinking - Excellent oral and written communication skills

You will report to the Sr. MD - Commercial and support the leader in achieving the company's goals.
