Sr. Manager - Mechanical Structure - Projects

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities: • Lead the civil and structural design and engineering activities for power plant projects • Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction methodologies and materials • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met • Oversee the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards • Manage contractor relationships and monitor project progress • Resolve any design or construction issues that may arise during the project lifecycle • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to uphold project quality • Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to senior management • Mentor and coach junior team members to foster professional development

Technical Skills • Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro • Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices • Knowledge of construction codes and standards applicable to the energy sector • Experience with project management tools and software

Non-Negotiable Skills: • Proven experience in managing civil and structural projects in the Power/Energy industry • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects successfully • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

Education Qualification: • Bachelor's or master's degree in civil / Mechanical engineering or related field

Experience • 12-15 years of experience in Civil & Structural engineering • Prior experience in the Power/Energy industry is essential • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects • Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timelines
