Job Description Summary

Fast paced, high impact role at the intersection of Digital Technology & Supply Chain. Responsible for wing-to-wing project management & execution of deployment projects – at Genba, on the shop floor – to deliver high quality outcomes to our internal and/or external customers. Partner with functional stakeholders/owners to define business requirements to enable business standardization and solve for critical business challenges. Work with technical product team(s) to ensure business requirements translate to technical product design & development. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high quality delivery on time & on budget. Work with global team members to continuously improve standard work.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the wing-to-wing deployment of Global Supply Chain Eco-System applications (Smartshop, L2L, GSC Shop Floor Platform, etc) at factories in and out of home region. Includes assessment of factory needs, on-boarding of master data, shop floor readiness, change management and go-live deployment.
  • Own deployment standard work, strategy & global roadmap
  • Drives continuous improvement of factory digital technology in support of factory targets. Including facilitating Kaizen, AWO, and problem-solving efforts. Drives continuous improvement of software offering including capturing/prioritizing feedback for software enhancements and leading adoption/implementation efforts of standard factory systems.
  • Participate in Lean Action workouts to ensure that physical changes to material flow is represented in the supporting systems and that new capabilities are developed in concert with the Lean transformation.
  • Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in deploying standard solutions and defining additional requirements to improve the standard
  • Drive technology discussion and strategy in line with business needs
  • Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources
  • Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge
  • Work with technical team often comprising of members of separate organizations to coordinate day-to-day execution as per outlined plan
  • Cooperate with and manage external vendors as required
  • Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary
  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
  • Manage executive level stakeholder communication and progress reporting
  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations
  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science,
  • Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum of 10 years of technical experience, including at least 8 years in operations and cross-functional supply chain roles, along with demonstrated leadership across disciplines and functions within a product environment.
  • Possess a passion for supply chain and manufacturing that demonstrably makes tangible improvements in operations technology and software to drive automation of manufacturing methods
  • Able to bridge and converge Information/Digital Technology with Operations

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,200.00 and $198,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
