As Senior Platform Engineer III, you'll provide platform engineering expertise for containerized environments supporting mission-critical workloads, designing and operating Kubernetes platforms while contributing immediately within a disciplined Agile delivery model.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. What you’ll do
- Work as part of a collaborative and high‑performing team delivering technical solutions within the highest levels of the federal government.
- Design and operate Kubernetes and container platforms supporting mission‑critical workloads.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Participate in Agile execution, planning, and continuous improvement activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in complex environments.
- Communicate platform status, risks, and technical decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence through technical expertise and professionalism.
- Use creativity and engineering judgment to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Required technical certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Terraform Associate.
- Possess DoD 8140 certification aligned to the 451 System Administrator work role, such as Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, or CISSP.
- 6+ years of experience in systems or DevOps engineering, including at least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Hands‑on experience ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of containerized environments in enterprise or mission‑critical settings.
- Operational experience managing CI/CD pipelines, container build processes, and infrastructure automation.
- Hands‑on experience deploying, managing, and operating container runtimes, orchestration tooling, and supporting services.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tooling including Rancher, Helm, Docker, Cilium, Rook, Ceph, MinIO, S3, and PortWorx.Experience leading or assisting in design and implementation on complex integrated container platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp‑up in a mission‑critical operational environment.
- Required technical certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Terraform Associate.
