The Role

The IT User eXperience and Enablement (UXE) Department is responsible for the technology used daily by every part of the business. This includes Video Conferencing suites, Laptops, Office IT equipment and Core-Business Applications.

The Principal IT Systems Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the integration of complex IT systems across the enterprise. This role sets technical direction, ensures alignment with business needs, and influences architecture standards. The Principal Architect leads cross-system troubleshooting, maintains system documentation, and collaborates with technical leaders to drive innovation and continual improvement, in line with ITIL and SDI best practices.

This person will work as a member of a globally distributed team of talented IT Professionals within Forcepoint. We will work together to deliver excellence to the company, with a focus on outstanding customer experience and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-system troubleshooting and design for recoverability and observability.
  • Demonstrate expertise in deployment and identity systems.
  • Maintain and improve system documentation and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with technical leaders on mentoring and development plans.
  • Communicate effectively from C-level to junior engineers.
  • Create and break down initiatives into actionable stories.
  • Influence technical direction company-wide.
  • Ensure alignment with business needs and outcomes.

Required

  • Expertise in system design and troubleshooting.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Understanding of business trade-offs and technical outcomes.

  • Experience with multiple identity and deployment systems.

Compensation

Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 180,000.00 - 216,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Forcepoint’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
