About the role
Role Overview
You will be joining Targets Global UX team as a Senior Product Designer in the Guest UX Team. Your primary responsibility will be to shape and enhance Targets digital experience for guests, contributing to business growth by creating a best-in-class digital shopping experience across various platforms. Your role will involve utilizing human-centered design methodologies to understand guest needs, deliver top‑notch designs, and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire design process, from discovery to asset delivery and production, collaborating with engineers
- Lead and contribute to craft‑specific work on large projects with cross‑team impact
- Use insights, data, and research to pursue user‑centric outcomes in your product space
- Create design deliverables like journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design, and prototypes
- Maintain high design standards, including accessibility, user research, information architecture, and visual design
- Foster a culture of human‑centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams
- Navigate complexity and ambiguity to deliver impactful solutions for guests and the business
Qualifications Required
- 6+ years of experience as a product designer
- Intermediate skills in UX and product design, with proficiency in tools like Figma
- Strong problem‑solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills
- Ability to challenge the status quo, understand human behavior, and leverage data for decision‑making
- Focus on delivering welcoming, inspiring, and clear design outcomes
