About the Opportunity
Want to build the next generation of financial products that helps enable RBC’s global success and improve the quality of life for millions of users in the process? RBC’s Mobile team is seeking a passionate, results‑oriented, and innovative Sr. Product Manager to drive the development of successful products, while helping to define the future of how RBC will scale in all phases of the products lifecycle. In this role, you will own the vision and strategy of the product, and are responsible for defining the product’s roadmap and strategy, requirements, key metrics for success and go‑to market tactics.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy & execution of mobile acquisition and sales funnel performance including the go‑to‑market plans to deliver measurable growth in qualified leads.
- Define vision and product strategies for solving user needs and problems
- Communicate your vision and your strategies effectively taking into consideration different stakeholders
- Build high‑quality, functional prototypes which convey, prove, and advance the vision of future RBC products and applications
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders from concept through shipping
- Work with a cross‑functional team of designers, engineers, leaders, internal business and delivery partners, and other subject matter experts on a day‑to‑day basis
- Participate in the full lifecycle of product development; including ideation, design, development, implementation and validation
- Define KPIs to measure the success of the product and define the right visualization to be consumed by different stakeholders
- Define key go‑to‑market tactics that will be used to drive adoption of the product
- Work quickly with minimal documentation and technical support
Requirements
- Must have Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business or Sciences with 3+ years of experience as a product manager
- Experience with and strong understanding of Mobile experiences (native/web) and development along with an understanding and fluent usage of a broad spectrum of technologies including mobile technologies, AI, security and payments
- Strong understanding of sales and acquisition funnels, experiences and processes across all banking products
- Strong data and analytics background, knowledge about statistical models and how to apply them in product concepts along with Creative and conceptual thinker, strong attention to detail, high‑level organization skills, great customer focus, unwavering commitment to quality in addition to excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Experience and passion for developing visually polished, engaging and highly fluid user interfaces
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Previous people leadership experience
- Passion for and understanding of Mobile and Digital trends, global competitive landscape, and best practices in product management
