Sr. Product Manager, Signals & Supply Quality, FTV Free Streaming

Amazon

New York · On-site Full-time Senior $151k – $225k/yr Today

About the role

Description

Fire TV is the world's most popular streaming media player, delighting tens of millions of customers every day. Free Streaming is one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses — and the ads supply and signal quality that powers it is the single biggest lever to unlock its revenue potential.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Technical to own the strategy and execution for ads supply optimization and signal quality across Fire TV's free ad-supported streaming experience. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role at the intersection of ad technology, streaming video, and monetization — where your work directly translates to revenue growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and drive the roadmap for closing demand eligibility gaps, standardizing supply signals, and improving fill rate and CPM performance across our programmatic supply chain
  • Own signal quality frameworks — building scorecards, taxonomies, and metadata standards that make our inventory more valuable to advertisers
  • Partner deeply with engineering, data science, publisher technology, and demand‑side teams to optimize auction mechanics, bidding infrastructure, and supply path efficiency
  • Bring ad tech industry expertise — OpenRTB, SSP/DSP ecosystems, identity resolution, measurement, and privacy‑first signal strategies — to a team building a global free streaming publisher business from the ground up

The ideal candidate has deep programmatic supply chain experience, a track record of turning signal quality improvements into measurable monetization outcomes, and the ability to operate across highly technical and commercial stakeholders with equal fluency. You are comfortable with ambiguity, energized by complex cross‑functional problems, and motivated by building systems that scale globally.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Own Ads Supply & Signal Quality Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for maximizing ad monetization through supply signal standardization, demand eligibility gap closure, and inventory quality improvement across Fire TV's free streaming experience.
  • Build Signal Quality Frameworks: Design and maintain signal quality scorecards, taxonomies, and metadata standards that increase inventory value, improve targeting precision, and expand advertiser demand eligibility.
  • Drive Supply Path Optimization: Identify and close inefficiencies across the programmatic supply chain — improving fill rate, CPM yield, and auction competitiveness through better signal coverage and supply curation.
  • Partner with Publisher Technology Teams: Work closely with ad serving, exchange, and publisher infrastructure teams to optimize bidding mechanics, supply packaging, and signal vending to demand partners.
  • Translate Signal Gaps into Revenue: Prioritize and quantify demand eligibility gaps, build business cases for remediation, and track monetization impact of signal quality improvements.
  • Align Cross‑Functional Stakeholders: Orchestrate across data science, engineering, content intelligence, audience growth, and ads product teams to ensure signal quality investments are integrated end‑to‑end from content ingestion through ad decisioning.
  • Inform Privacy‑First Signal Strategy: Stay current on identity, measurement, and privacy developments in the ad tech ecosystem and ensure our supply signals are durable, compliant, and competitive.
  • Scale Globally: Design signal frameworks and supply quality processes that extend across international markets as the free streaming business expands.
