Sr. Program Manager, Leo Production Ops, Leo Finance

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Program Manager to join the Leo Business Architecture and Financial Integration (BAFI) team. You will provide program oversight to the financial integration roadmap and directly influence new business/product launches or deal offerings in Leo Production Operations, including satellite and ground gateway terminal manufacturing. You will partner with our accounting, finance operations, technology, product, engineering, and business finance groups to evaluate new launch/product offerings with a goal of balancing business growth against controllership benefits through the reduction of manual financial processes and technical costs of financial automation.

The role is broad-based and will require a strong, independent performer who is motivated to make a big impact in a highly ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate is expected to have finance or accounting experience to evaluate necessary reporting and control elements into systems (or tools) to support new business activity. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities Ensure adherence to financial stewardship while driving growth and profitability. You will identify opportunities in business, production operations, and financial processes for innovation and efficiency, without sacrificing controllership and long-term business growth. You will oversee automation milestones and launch schedules for technical projects under the program and implement mechanisms to drive appropriate schedules. You will manage cross-functional initiatives through influence versus direct management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years of program or project management experience • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership • Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization • Working understanding of an internal control framework and a solid understanding of the concepts of control design and operational efficiency. Experience managing risks and have excellent judgment in driving senior leadership-level escalations. • Adept at leveraging AI to drive program effectiveness and efficiencies.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
