What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day‑to‑day project activities of complex, tactical projects, ensuring adherence to project control procedures and technology performance standards.
- Manage delivery of project‑management best practices and processes, including reporting, project planning, and support activities.
- Determine objectives with significant latitude and lead employees in developing analytical approaches.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, senior management, and project managers.
- Provide status updates and progress reports to stakeholders to manage expectations related to scope and timeline constraints.
How You’ll Succeed
- Project Management: Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs; create resource plans that give all stakeholders a voice; assess and improve team practices and procedures.
- Collaboration: Help internal partners make informed decisions about programs, products, and services; coach and mentor teams; negotiate deliverables and milestones as needed.
- Project Coordination: Proactively identify risks to the schedule and mitigate them; monitor milestones to ensure completion within timelines and budgets; execute a balanced project plan across budget, time, and risk.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of project‑management experience, preferably in financial services or technology; experience managing cross‑portfolio projects in a matrix environment.
- Proficiency with waterfall and agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with project‑management and issue‑management tools such as Planview, ServiceNow, and JIRA.
- Background in wealth management and vendor management.
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field; PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, or similar designation is an asset.
- Strong influence and relationship‑building skills; able to make your voice heard and inspire outcomes.
- Digitally savvy, eager to adopt innovative solutions and new technologies.
