Sr. QA Engineer (Automation) Federal Project

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and system testing to support a Federal project with the Federal Reserve Board. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, API testing, and Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium POM, BDD, Data-Driven)
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, smoke, sanity)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and build test scenarios
• Execute automation scripts as part of CI/CD pipelines
• Track and manage defects using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jira
• Conduct API and database (SQL Server) testing
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work independently

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in QA Automation & System Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and automation frameworks
• Proficiency in Java or Python
• Experience with API testing, Angular applications, and SQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jira
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in Agile environments

• Experience with performance testing tools
• Prior Federal/Government project experience
