Sr. QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to support enterprise-level application development, implementation, and testing efforts. This role focuses on building and maintaining robust QA frameworks, driving automation strategy, and ensuring high-quality product delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance QA automation frameworks and test strategies
• Create and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements
• Design and implement automated test scripts for regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
• Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to drive E2E testing efforts
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Track defects, test progress, and coverage using QA tools
• Perform API, database, cross-browser, and multi-device testing
• Review test results and ensure proper defect documentation
• Mentor junior QA team members and enforce QA best practices
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 10 years of QA experience with strong focus on automation
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cucumber
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
• Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, SOAPUI)
• Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket)
• Exposure to AI tools in QA processes
• Experience with test management tools like Jira and qTest
• Knowledge of data pipelines or big data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
• Experience in eCommerce or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
• Experience testing loyalty or rewards programs
