About the role

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITSM and CMDB modules. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions, ensuring CMDB data integrity, and supporting IT service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

  • Design and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Customize modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management
  • Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions
  • Implement Service Catalog items and automate workflows

ITSM Implementation

  • Configure and enhance ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge)
  • Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices
  • Handle L2/L3 production support and enhancements

CMDB & Discovery

  • Design and maintain CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
  • Implement Service Mapping and Discovery
  • Ensure data quality, normalization, and reconciliation
  • Manage CI relationships and data governance

Integration & Automation

  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Work with MID Server, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer
  • Automate workflows and business processes

Performance & Optimization

  • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize platform usage
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes

Collaboration

  • Work with stakeholders, architects, and business teams
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in ServiceNow Development
  • Hands-on expertise in ITSM modules
  • Deep understanding of CMDB architecture & data model
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and scripting
  • Experience in integrations (REST/SOAP)
