The Role You’ll Play

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be a key member of a cross‑functional team focused on creating new features for the ClassPass mobile apps. You will build robust, user‑friendly apps, separate concerns across UI and model layers, and ship software early and often while valuing simplicity and eliminating unnecessary complexity.

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Collaborate closely with product and design teams, shipping early and often.
• Provide leadership and mentorship for junior engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and technical discussions.
• Seek and incorporate feedback to turn good work into great work.
• Write clear and concise technical documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge with the team.
• Identify process and system improvements, take ownership of implementation, and drive impact.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven track record of shipping successful Android apps to the Google Play Store.
• Strong analytical abilities and a propensity for problem solving.
• Initiative to identify and implement process and system improvements.
• Bias for action, driving impact, and initiating ideas.

Preferred Technologies

• Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android development.
• Experience working on a large, modular codebase that requires long‑term architectural planning.
• Flutter experience is a plus (not required).
