Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

Design and develop complex software systems and applications that support the client's business needs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex software applications
• Translate business and technical requirements into technical specifications
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, coaching, and mentorship
• Partner with architecture teams on scalable, secure, maintainable solutions
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Improve processes, technologies, and product offerings
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency with Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with API-first architectures and container-deployed systems
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of modern databases, performance optimization, and auditable access patterns
• Knowledge of software design patterns and documentation standards
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Master's degree
• AWS and Azure experience
• Docker and Kubernetes experience
• IaaS experience, including CloudFormation or Terraform
• Deployment automation experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bamboo
• Agile or Scrum experience
